Cylindrical Down the Hatch
With this post, I become one step away from being getting the Holy Grail of my Master’s Thesis. With the help of Pozar and Pan’s papers on mutual coupling of slot antenna arrays, it looks like finishing this master’s thesis will all of the things I wanted to do isn’t that far fetched.
So what am I so happy about?
Well I will just show you:

This is the cylindrical waveguide and the Hmag, Hr, Hphi and Hz. Notice the agreement?
With theĀ magnitude down the axis I get 0.96% error. Not bad for analytical vs. numerical.
I have a Marquette seminar presentation next week Friday, so I will be posting that talk sometime next weekend. Everything I have here should be summarized.

Holy crap! you’re well on your way good sir. I figured this was gonna be the wrench in the gears, since depending on the problem simply going to cylindrical from rectangular coordinate systems doesn’t always go as smoothly as you’d like.
